Drosy is a market-response experiment using a bounded fruit-fly locomotor circuit. The biological connectivity is recorded; membrane dynamics, market encoding, readout and trading rules are modeling choices.
Neural data

Simulation software
LocomotorSim and its LegDynamics dependency derive from Desktop Fly, copyright 2026 Denis Shiryaev, under the MIT license. This distribution includes per-cell spike counters. Drosy uses the same engine for server decisions and browser replay. Body feedback is disabled. The visual projection uses the circuit's recorded soma coordinates; line sampling is only a display optimization.
The portfolio experiment
Inspired by Fly Fund I. Drosy's interface, community brand, shared server ledger, feed integration and presentation are independently implemented. We acknowledge the reference experiment's approach/avoidance concept and fixed motor-readout convention. We do not claim affiliation or predictive ability.
Coinbase Exchange USD spot quotes cover BTC, ETH, SOL, DOGE, XRP, AVAX, LINK and UNI. Quote documentation. Each asset must accumulate six advancing observations over at least 140 seconds. Quotes older than 120 seconds are not traded. Three- and ten-minute signals use available observed history while the longer window fills. Source gaps reset the affected history. The background service samples every 30 seconds even without visitors.
Initial capital is $1,000,000 on a paper ledger. There are no real deposits, asset custody or blockchain transactions. Costs use 0.10% fees and 0.05% slippage per fill; taxes, market impact, liquidity constraints and execution availability are not modeled. The benchmark allocates equally at the first complete fresh quote set with the same entry cost assumptions. Performance starts at launch and is never backfilled.

Drosy's original fruit-fly mascot and campaign art were created for this project using image generation. The community token identity is Drosy / DROSY. It is separate from the portfolio accounting experiment. Robinhood Chain network information.
